Florida's public records law requires that all information received in connection with state business be made available to anyone upon request, unless the information is subject to a specific statutory exemption. If information is required by law to be disclosed about you, then every effort to notify you about the disclosure in advance will be taken.

Personal Information

**NOTICE**

Any Person preparing or filing a court document should not include a social security number or a complete bank account, debit, charge, or credit card number in such document, unless required by law or court rule, or necessary to the adjudication of the case.

Any person has a right to request that the Clerk of the Circuit Court remove from any image or copy of a court document a social security number or account numbers. Such request must be in writing and delivered by mail or person to the Clerk's Office. The request must specify the case number, title of the document which contains numbers to be redacted. A fee will not be charged for the redaction. 

It is further noted that the Clerk has no authority to refuse any document or pleading that contains the aforementioned sequential numbers.

 

Notice for E-mail

Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public-records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.
