The Washington County Clerk’s Office is successfully eRecording with Simplifile. ERecording, or electronic recording, is the process of filing and recording documents with the Washington County Clerk of Court’s Recording Office via the internet. This process would otherwise require documents be submitted by express mail, courier service or personal visit. With eRecording, customers can simply scan the original document to be recorded, convert it to an electronic image, add indexing information and with one click of the mouse submit it to the Washington County Clerk of Court’s Recording Office.
