If you are interested in bidding at a Foreclosure Auction, it is recommended that you come into the office and physically view file. You can also obtain information about the property with the parcel id # at the Property Appraiser’s website. You may also search our Public Court Records to the right with the case number. Sale information is also published in the Washington County News. The foreclosure sale scheduled for March 27 and March 29 will be split between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Contact the Washington County Clerks Office for additional information.
If you wish to bid on a Foreclosure:
- You must appear in person or have someone to represent you
- You will be required to pay 5% of your bid immediately after the sale. The remaining balance will be due by 3:00 that afternoon.
- Cashier checks or money orders accepted.

The successful bidder must pay the addition fees in addition to the bid:
- Documentary Stamps
- Registry of Court fees. 1st $500 is $15 with remaining Balance at 1.5%
All foreclosure sales are held at 11:00 a.m. at the front of the Washington County Courthouse located at 1293 Jackson Avenue, Chipley, Fl, unless posted otherwise.
